Eric's Week 2 Review

The big story lines of the week in baseball were the perfect game by Phil Humber and the 9-0 blown lead by the Red Sox.  Interestingly enough, these had huge implications for one of our fantasy match-ups.  The Dark Side (me) picked up Humber (genius move) Saturday morning for a spot start.  On the other side the Yanks dined on Mr. Debenport's Oracles' closer Alfredo Aceves to the tune of 5 runs in 0.0 IP.  This plus the rain on Sunday helped even out an otherwise lop-sided victory for Graham.

In more relevant fantasy news, the match-up of the week belonged to Tip vs. America.  Mike beat Nick to catapult him into the early season lead by two games.  Well played.

Another big victory belongs to Cano's Vicodin.  Matt sent Steve tumbling into The Pit of Despair with a big victory.  The Mark Texiera pickup really paid dividends here.

Uninterestingly, Chris and Tim play to a near draw.  And in the "could have seen it coming from a mile away" game, my brother put down Nick's brother. 

First two trades of the season this week.  I declare both Worts's losers.  Blah.  I'll probably end up dropping the guy Mike traded me while Mark would probably appreciate some performances like Texiera put up on Saturday.

By the way, I am unhappy with my team and will consider all proposed trades.
